PHILADELPHIA (WPVI) -- An arrest has been made in connection with a mass shooting at a South Philadelphia bar last weekend. (The video in the player above is from previous coverage.) Police say 43-year-old Michael Welton, of Philadelphia, turned himself in to police on Friday.

Another person was injured while fleeing the gunfire at Etting and Dickinson Streets in the Grays Ferry section of South Philadelphia.

Philadelphia Police announced they have arrested a person in connection with the mass shooting on July 5th at a South Philly bar.

An unknown number of gunmen terrorized the South Philadelphia community as, officials said, 3 people were killed and 10 were hurt as gunshots were fired 'randomly' in gun battle that happened early Monday.

Police said the shooting early Saturday morning at 7 Elements followed an "altercation" on an outside balcony. L&I has ordered the business to remain closed citing zoning and licensing violations.

Azir Harris, 24, who had used a wheelchair since being struck in a drive-by shooting as a teen, was shot in the back several times and pronounced dead at the hospital. In the years since he was paralyzed, Harris had worked diligently to curb gunfire in his neighborhood, his family said.
