Hunter Dobbins’ 2025 season is over, as the Red Sox placed the right-hander on the 15-day injured list due to a right ACL tear.  Right-hander Richard Fitts was called up from Triple-A to take Dobbins’ spot on the active roster.

Alex Bregman is back. The Red Sox third baseman was officially activated from the injured list prior to Friday’s game and will bat second in his return against the Tampa Bay Rays. Hunter Dobbins was also activated and will get the start against Tampa Bay’s Drew Rasmussen.
