Jonathan Kuminga is reportedly seeking a lucrative new deal worth over $30 million per year. With this demand now public, the Golden State Warriors are facing a tough decision on whether to commit to Kuminga long-term or begin exploring trade options that better fit their future vision.

The Golden State Warriors still have yet to make a free agency move, despite nearly two weeks having passed. Many fans have been displeased by the lack of moves, given the limited time to contend with Stephen Curry, Jimmy Butler and Draymond Green at the helm.

As such, Anthony Slater of The Athletic believes the most logical course of action is for Kuminga to re-sign with the Warriors, and the franchise seek a potential trade closer to the dealine.
