CBS News justice correspondent Scott MacFarlane tells Chuck Todd that he had to take leave because he was so traumatized by the crowd at the Butler campaign rally where President Donald Trump was nearly assassination.

"They were coming for us," he said in the clip flagged by The Daily Caller. "If [Trump] didn't jump up with his fist, they were going to come kill us!"
