Expectations will be high for the Chicago Bears following the hiring of new head coach Ben Johnson, which means quarterback Caleb Williams will be under even more of a spotlight heading into his second season.

There's no doubt that the Bears' signal-caller in Williams has gifts very few quarterbacks have, which is why he was selected with the No. 1 overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Still, it helps that the team around him needs to be well-kept, which the team has addressed by giving Williams an offensive-minded head coach in Johnson.

NFL Trade Rumors thinks Case Keenum could take over the QB2 role behind Williams. That would mean moving on from third-year passer Tyson Bagent, who found his way onto the NFL roster despite playing at Division II Shepherd University.
