Delta Air Lines Inc. expects to incur more than $2 billion in higher fuel costs through June because of the Iran war, prompting the carrier to tread carefully and stick to its previous full-year profit forecast.
Delta Air Lines ( DAL) said that it expects capital spending of about $5.5B for aircraft, fleet modifications, and tech enhancements in 2026. The company also expects fuel consumption for the remainder of 2026 to remain aligned with capacity changes compared to 2025, it said in a filing.
