Midvaal Local Municipality has invested R22 million to tar seven gravel roads in Highbury, Meyerton, Kookrus, and Riversdale.

Thanks to Mayoral Student Financial Aid Programme a total of 44 Midvaal students will be able to pursue their studies in 2026.
