Jeff Bezos’ space ambitions went up in flames on Thursday night when a Blue Origin rocket exploded in a massive fireball during testing at a Florida launch pad.

It exploded during a prelaunch engine-firing procedure known as a hot-fire test ahead of a planned launch to send 48 Amazon Leo satellites into low-Earth orbit.
