Patrick O'Callahan, the deputy chief for Orange Village Police Department who has been charged with drunken driving, was also at the center of a civil rights lawsuit over a police shooting.

The SUV driver is in custody after the Monday afternoon chase that began in Jefferson Park. No injuries were reported.

The ordinance comes as the department faces questions over what an expert said was altered body camera footage from a Sept. 18 shooting.

A police officer and two gas station clerks were injured in a shooting near South Parker Road and Peoria Street Monday night, according to the Denver Police Department. The suspect was shot and killed by police.
