After a dominant debut in Salt Lake City, VJ Edgecombe missed four consecutive Summer League contests due to a left thumb sprain.

"Honestly, I think he's been great," star guard Tyrese Maxey said of Edgecombe. "Just the game that I saw and then just talking to him before, I think his mindset’s in the right place. I think he's going to go out there and compete extremely hard."
