During the primary, voters will select the Democratic and Republican party nominees who will then appear on the November 2026 general election.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris' last visit to Detroit was when she was running for president, ahead of the 2024 election. In February, she'll return to promote her book, " 107 Days ." The former U.S. vice president is set to visit The Fillmore in Downtown Detroit, 2115 Woodward Ave., on Feb. 27, 2026.

Early voting in Harris County begins Monday, Oct. 20, and runs through Friday, Oct. 31, giving residents nearly two weeks to cast their ballots ahead of Election Day on Nov. 4.

Six Republicans and three Democrats have already filed for Harris County judge, in addition to one independent candidate who is actively campaigning on social media.

Democrats have a chance at overperforming in the Tennessee special election after Harris attended a canvassing event last month.

Former Vice President Kamala Harris will return to battleground Wisconsin early next year as part of her nationwide book tour in the aftermath of the 2024 presidential election. Harris is scheduled to speak on March 1 at The Orpheum Theater in Madison.
