A St. Lucie County sheriff’s deputy has been arrested and charged with driving under the influence, said Sebastian police Deputy Chief Tim Wood. Arthur Robert Alfaro was arrested about 12:40 a.m. Feb.

During the chase a 25-year-old South Carolina resident pulled a gun on deputies, according to the sheriff’s office.

Two men were arrested for allegedly stealing nearly $11,000 worth of merchandise from a Lululemon store in Ardmore in January.

The girls, who were five and six years old at the time of the June 2024 incidents, were reportedly shaken up but uninjured.
