The cause of death for CHP Officer Miguel Cano was revealed to be an accident due to fentanyl. Cano died in Culver City in July when he crashed his patrol car shortly after arresting a DUI suspect.

Authorities said the suspect's car flew off the freeway exit and landed in the parking lot of a Norms restaurant.
