The U.S. Supreme Court handed Democratic Governor Gavin Newsom a stunning victory over President Donald Trump by letting California’s new congressional maps stand for the midterms.

Charles Munger Jr ., a Berkshire Hathaway heir, poured millions of dollars into the fight against Newsom's redistricting plan, saying it would "gerrymander" the state in favor of Democrats.
