On July 19, 2025, 18-year-old Connor Zilisch from Mooresville, North Carolina, thrilled Southern Maryland NASCAR fans by winning his fourth NASCAR Xfinity Series race in the rain-shortened BetRivers 200 at Dover Motor Speedway.

The NASCAR schedule took us to Dover Motor Speedway on Saturday evening for the BetRivers 200 of the Xfinity Series. In a field of drivers that included Cup Series driver Ross Chastain and standout youngster Connor Zilisch, a little late afternoon racing in Delaware provided some exciting NASCAR Xfinity results.

Zilisch wins rain-shortened Dover race, Almirola 2nd, Jones 3rd. Zilisch now 2nd in points with 4 wins, 8 straight top-fives.
