Lakers jersey history No. 21 — Archie Clark
During the Lakers' 80th season of existence (they were founded back in 1946 as the Detroit Gems in the National Basketball League), LeBron Wire is taking a look at each player who has worn their jersey, whether it has been a purple and gold one or the ones they donned back in the Midwest during their early years.
The Kings look to part ways with Keon Ellis on an expiring contract. Meanwhile, the Lakers look to add defense to their title-chase.

Chandler Parsons believes no trade can fix what’s wrong with the Lakers: "It's a lot of Luka, some highlights from LeBron"
Because of this, Parsons admitted that he is tired of hearing the repeated claim that the Lakers are "one small move away" from legitimate title contention. As a result, he urged this continuous trend to end immediately and for the Lakers' fans to accept the harsh reality.

Lakers player grades: L.A. soars high above the Hawks
In what was arguably their best overall performance so far this season, the Lakers plucked the Hawks hard for an easy win on Tuesday.
The Atlanta Hawks’ three-game winning streak was snapped by a 141-116 defeat to the Los Angeles Lakers (who broke their own three-game losing streak) on Tuesday night. Nickeil Alexander-Walker led the Hawks with 26 points and CJ McCollum scored 25 points. For the Lakers, LeBron James scored 31 points, while Luka Doncic added 27 points.
The tension from Monday night’s game between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Sacramento Kings didn’t end at the final buzzer. After Sacramento’s 124–112 win at Golden 1 Center on January 12, a physical altercation between a Lakers fan and a Kings fan broke out in a parking garage outside the arena.

Lakers reveal final injury report for Tuesday's game versus Hawks
The Los Angeles Lakers fell 124-112 to the Sacramento Kings on Monday, giving them their third straight loss in a row, and it marked a regression for them, especially on the defensive end. They allowed Sacramento to shoot 58.5% from the field and go 17-of-26 from 3-point range, which was flat-out unacceptable.
LeBron James, playing in a back-to-back for the first time this season, had 31 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds in Tuesday's win over the Atlanta Hawks.
