A statewide air quality alert remains in effect Monday as smoke from Canadian wildfires continues to move across Michigan.

Wildfire smoke coming in from Canada has overspread much of Michigan already today. It will create hazy skies, and has prompted an Air Quality Alert for much of the state. The alert will stretch into Monday.
