WHATELY, MA (WGGB/WSHM) - On Sunday afternoon, first responders in Whately rushed to North Street to put out a house on Fire.

Firefighters responded to a kitchen fire at an apartment complex in Dayton late Saturday afternoon. Dayton Police & Fire wrote in a social media post that firefighters were dispatched around 5:25 p.m.

Due to the extent of the damage on Thursday night, the home was deemed uninhabitable, according to Bridgewater Police.
