The Snohomish County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) posted bodycam of a deputy who found a suspicious car on Monday morning.

The ruling comes as state lawmakers debate a bill that would exempt automated license plate reader footage from the Public Records Act.

The city will deactivate its 68 cameras after a Snohomish County judge ruled that the footage is considered public record.
