Gyokeres has already agreed personal terms on a five-year deal and has been awaiting a club-to-club agreement. He is now expected to join Arsenal in a deal worth €63.5million (£54.86m), with a further €10m (£8.64) in add-ons.

Arsenal are close to finalising a deal with Sporting to sign Sweden forward Viktor Gyokeres. The two clubs have been negotiating for more than a week with discussions now at an advanced stage and an agreement close. Arsenal's most recent proposal for the 27-year-old totals about 70m euros (£60m) including add-ons.
