After earthquakes centered in New Jersey rattled parts the NYC area twice in less than two weeks, a seismologist says it's unlikely a sign of things to come.

Multiple earthquakes rattled parts of San Bernardino and Riverside counties Thursday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey. An initial 3.0-magnitude quake struck the area near Rialto around 8:34 a.m. and was followed by a 2.8-magnitude quake and several aftershocks.

Did you feel it? A 3.5 magnitude earthquake struck the Rialto area in San Bernardino County on Tuesday. The quake was reported at around 4:55 p.m., according to the United States Geological Survey. The epicenter of the quake was located around 3 miles northwest of Rialto in a populated part of town.
