Indonesia trade agreement eliminates tariffs on American exports while securing commitments to protect labor rights and purchase Boeing aircraft and farm products.

Indonesia has agreed to eliminate tariffs on more than 99% of U.S. goods and scrap all non-tariff barriers facing American firms, while the U.S. will drop threatened tariffs on Indonesian products to 19% from 32%,

The administration provided some insight into the terms that were agreed upon between Indonesia and the United States, hinting at how other vague and hastily negotiated deals may turn out.
