Liverpool pay emotional tribute to Diogo Jota at Preston friendly - Liverpool have been in mourning since the news of Jota’s death came early on the morning of July 3.

Darwin Nunez performed a pair of Diogo Jota-inspired celebrations after scoring. The Uruguayan performed a shark gesture, which Jota memorably delivered after scoring a cracking goal against Everton at Goodison Park, before sitting down and mimicking playing video games.

Despite the match not taking place at Anfield, Liverpool will have numerous tributes to Diogo Jota and Andre Silva ahead and during the friendly, while both teams will also wear black armbands during the match.
