⚠️ UPDATE 4:50pm - all lanes have reopened on the M5 south following an earlier collision. Traffic is still heavy on the A38 and approaching J1 of the M42 but these should now start to ease. ____ ⚠️ Traffic leaving the M42 at J1 is queuing back onto the main carriageway as a knock on from the collision on the M5 south where two lanes remain closed between J4A and J5. Local roads including the A38 are also struggling as motorway traffic avoids the M5. Please keep this in mind if leaving work soon
