Crookston Castle sits quietly in the south side of Glasgow. Built in the 1400s by the Stewart family, it’s one of the few remaining medieval castles in the area. Most of it is in ruins now but the main tower still stands, holding onto a lot of history. One of the better known stories tied to the castle is about Mary Queen of Scots.
