This scene was my favorite in the movie. My poor character had been pushed to the breaking point by his wife, his father-in-law and by being out of his comfort zone for way too long. The scene is such a roller coaster and I wanted the audience to feel there was an actual possibility that I would pull the trigger. The joke at the end of the scene was a work of art unto itself. All Hail Ganz and Mandel (with an assist from Mr. Crystal himself) on the writing of one of the best scripts ever written
