We joined NYC DOT today to announce the opening of the new Jamaica Av and Archer Av Busways! 🆕 There's a new feature on mta.info and the Apple iOS MYmta app that shows you how many riders are on arriving buses, so you can decide whether you're comfortable boarding or if you'd rather wait. Right now, we're live on about 40% of our buses, in all 5 boroughs. We know distancing on public transit can be a concern, especially as the city reopens and folks go back to work, and we hope this tool helps you make you a little more comfortable as you get on the bus.
