The Lissner House is located at the corner of Union Street and Monk Street in Historic downtown Brunswick, Georgia. The Lissner House was built by Jacob Lissner ( J.J. Lissner) in 1905. Lissner had a house before located at 1000 Union Street. Lissner was a very wealthy businessman. Jacob Lissner was very unpopular, and he was snubbed by his fellow peers.
